I want to be notified if something is wrong with my shipment

You can set up notifications within our system and not have to wait for a notification from our team

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Log in to the platform.

Log in and click the Notification tab.

There is an "Add Rule" button in the upper right corner, click on it.

Open the page for creating notifications

You will be taken to the page for creating a new notification. The first thing you need to do is to select a client name. Only your company name will be available to you.

Select your company's sites for which you want to receive this notification. This can be a single site or multiple sites.

Select what you want to be notified of

Select from the list the situation in which you want to be notified. The list contains a large number of cases where you may need to be notified.

If you select the “New Exception Created” option, then you will be presented with an additional window where you can select the type of exception you want to be notified on.

Filter shipments

You can only use this notification for specific shipments. For example, only for shipments within Sweden, or only for shipments with DHL. Or only for shipments where the recipient is your key customer and they are due next week.

In order to use this complex filtering, you need to save it in advance on the shipments page. If you don't know how to do this, please read the article “How do I save a complex filter?”. And then you can select it here in the list.

This field is optional, so you can skip it.

Receive notification or mark such shipments?

Perhaps you do not want to flood your mail with notifications and would prefer that such shipments are marked in our system and you can return to them and check them at your convenience.

In this case you can select the Bookmarked box. This will put a check mark next to the shipments that match this rule. You can then filter them in the main shipments page.

If you want to be notified by mail, then leave the Notification box checked.

Select the notification template

This is essentially the text you'll see in the letter you'll receive in the mail.

Most of the time you will only see one available template option, but sometimes there may be 2 or more. In our example, only one templating option is available, so we choose it.

After that, the “Preview” button became available to us and we can see a draft of our email.

Who will receive the notification

The last step we need to choose who will receive the notification. This can be either the person who is associated with a particular shipment. For example, the recipient, the sender, or a specified contact person.

Or you can select a specific person in your organization to whom the information should be sent.

You can select several options or all of them at once. It depends on your needs.

If the contact is not in the list of your organization, you can specify its data separately below in a special window.

Click on the “Add New Receipients” button and a blank line will appear where you can enter the required data.

Activate email notification

By default, all notifications are sent internally only. So if you want a person to receive a notification to the mail, then allow us to do it with a special checkbox.

That's it, our rule is ready, check that it is activated in the common list and wait for notifications.
